The characteristics, uses and methods of use of metal baking paint
Metal baking paint characteristics:
Metal baking paint is suitable for coating the inner and outer surface of metal work piece. It can replace all kinds of solvent-based baking coatings. Metal baking paint is used for decoration and protection of metal surface, especially for metal aluminum, alloy, stainless steel and other metal dense materials have excellent adhesion performance.
Metal baking paint use:
Metal baking paint is mainly used for electroplating the surface of hardware devices such as lamps and lanterns, household appliances, metal handicrafts and so on. Metal baking paint can also be used as protective and decorative paint for cars, motorcycle parts, fuel tanks and so on. Metal baking paint not only has high hardness and good flexibility, but also has excellent anti-rust performance and storage stability. Compared with solvent-based metal baking paint, metal baking paint has good aging resistance, non-toxic, pollution-free, non-flammable and non-explosive characteristics.
Metal baking paint using method:
- Metal baking paint is suitable for all the processes of solvent-based baking coatings.
- Metal baking paint can be sprayed, drenched or dipped on metal handicrafts. No matter what kind of construction method you choose, you should dilute this product with water.
- The dilution ratio is oil: water = 1:0.2 -0.4. It is found that the viscosity of 4 cups is the best for 15 seconds. The dilution amount can be increased or decreased according to the site situation.
- Dilute with water, stir evenly, filter with 400 mesh filter cloth, stand for 15-30 minutes de-foaming, can be used for construction.
- After spraying, the metal work piece stands for a certain time (about 5 minutes), and can be put into the preheated oven (room) with the temperature above 150 degrees to bake for 30-50 minutes until leveled. Baking time is adjusted according to the thickness of the metal paint film. The thicker the paint, the longer the baking time. The specific time is mastered by the field technicians, but the paint film must be fully cured.
