Plastic material for CNC prototyping

When we make some CNC machining parts for prototyping purposes, usually below plastic material will be chosen,

     1. For common prototypes, generally choose ABS material, this material is easy to process and after processing is more beautiful.

     2. High temperature resistant prototypes, optional material (1) Epoxy resin; (2) Bakelite; (3) Black PC; (4) PA (nylon). These four materials cannot be joined except the black PC. So the other three material needs to be whole block material processing.

     3. Wear resistance prototypes, can choose POM or PA. These two materials cannot be bonded hand board, the need for overall processing.

     4. High toughness prototypes can choose PA or PP. These two materials cannot be joined; it needs whole block material processing.

     5. Transparent prototype can choose PMMA (Acrylic), transparent ABS, transparent PC and other materials. These materials prototype after polishing can get high transparency and achieve the same effect as the real product.
