10 Don’t in prototyping process
To efficiently make high quality prototypes with competitive prices, we need pay close attention to 10 Don’t to avoid any quality defects in prototype build.
1.The production process and drawings of the prototyping should not be wrong.
2.(ABS material) when gluing, pay attention to the amount of glue, do not have cracking phenomenon.
3.(Acrylic material) in bonding, do not have the phenomenon of cracking and bubbles.
4.(PC material) in the oven or with the air duct blowing, the temperature should not be too high.
5.(POM, nylon, aluminum alloy material) cannot be adhesive, so cannot be dis-joined; pay attention to the hole cannot be offset when punching, otherwise it will be scrapped.
6.Do not glue pars to the wrong place during assembly, and do not have dislocation and gap.
7.When polishing, the work-piece with R Angle is not a right Angle, and the edge has radian, also need to pay attention to.
8.Be careful not to polish too much, otherwise parts’ sized will get smaller than spec.
9.For vacuum casting parts, should be careful not to deform and shrink, and there should be no bubbles. If there are bubbles, the workload of manual processing will increase.
10.Do not have color difference, paint burst, paint off and other phenomena, as well as in the oil and control dusts during painting.
At Accu, we're providing one-stop prototyping solution with CNC parts (plastic, metal), 3D printing (SLA, SLS), vacuum casting, polishing, painting, assembling, etc. Our process is optimized and reviewed for high quality expectation.
